These large-scale puppets were conceived and built in just one month in Las Vegas by a team of twenty-five fabricators- a process that started before a script for the show even existed. I collaborated with the Director and Design Team on selecting which of the resort’s menagerie of creatures would be brought to life in puppet form for a nightly firework, fountain, and stage spectacular, and created all of the stylistic renderings that defined the look of these behemoth puppets. I then worked closely with the build team to help pattern, skin, and paint the puppets, ensuring the final designs matched the visual identity established in the concept art.
